How do I set up a Client User in PowerGrid?
Follow the steps below to create a new client user in PowerGrid.
Step 1: Access PowerGrid
- Navigate to https://my.afs.net
- Click on the PowerGrid title
Step 2: Switch to the Client Account
- In the top-right corner, change the account to the client’s internal TSI account
Step 3: Open User Maintenance
- Open the hamburger menu on the left-hand side
- Select Account Maintenance
- Click User Maintenance
Step 4: Add a New User
- Click Add New User at the top of the screen
Step 5: Complete User Details
Fill in the required fields:
Username
- Can be the client’s email address, first initial + last name, or similar
Password Requirements
The password must:
- Be at least 10 characters long
- Contain:
- Uppercase letters (A–Z)
- Lowercase letters (a–z)
- Numbers (0–9)
- Special characters (! @ # $ % ^ & *)
- Not include more than two identical characters in a row
- Be a non-empty value
TrendVista User
- This field can mirror the username
- Must be populated for the client to see PG Analytics as their landing page
- If the client is PCA, Aptiv, or Cyprium, additional setup is required
Security Level
Select the appropriate security level for the user:
- SADMIN – Standard Admin
Standard data entry access with IT privileges; no management report access - SDATAE – Standard Data Entry
Read/write access for assigned location(s) with associated reporting rights - RREADA – Read Admin (No GL Coding)
All screens visible for assigned location(s); read-only access with no GL coding - SREADA – Standard Read Access
Read-only access for all screens within assigned location(s), including reporting - AADMIN – Application Admin
Full, unrestricted access to all screens, functions, and management reports for all locations
Note: Most admins use the SADMIN level.
- SRRATE – Standard Rating Only
Access limited to rating tools only - SREPRT – Report Access
No system screen access; can receive standard reports and communications for assigned location(s)
Client Locations
- Select the location(s) the user should have access to
- If no locations are selected, the user will not be able to view or report on any data
Step 6: Save the User
- Click Save

- Clients associated with PCA, Cyprium, or Aptiv require additional setup to access client-specific TrendVista dashboards
